Lg Laurel Burch Cat And Parrot Figurine 10 12 In TallLarge laurel burch figurine- cat with parrot10.5 inches x 8 inches- big! I am showing it with a laurel burch coffee mug (not fro sale- you can't have my favorite mug! ) for a size comparison. Featuring the cat-and-parrot motif, this figurine ahs stunning color and detail with no fading or scratches. The figure is signed on the left front leg. The previous owner glued a sheet of plastic to the bottmo of the figurine, presumably to help it stand upright. I have not tried to remove hte plastic, nor am i sure it can be removed without damaging the felt. The original upc tag is visible. There is a dab of light-colored paint (or something) on the back of the figurine, visible at the top of teh leg.
I think it may be some of the adhesive used to glue to plastic plaet to the bottom. At the tip of the tail on the front, there is a dot of purple paint that is out of place- i think it was a manufacturing error. Those are the only blemishes i can find on the figurine. The whiskers are loose, so they droop in their setting.
I think this is a cmomon occurrence in her older figurines. They are not bent. Thsi auction will end on 10/13/08. Payment expected within four dasy of auction's end.
